Teen Writing Club: Story Maker’s Guild Ages: 13-18| Friday, Sept. 10 | 4:30 pm Once a month, after school club for teens to come together and write (or draw) and share their work for feedback from their peers. Expect a relaxed, fun atmosphere to practice and share your writing skills and have fun. Club hosted by Amanda Gatton. Lego Madness Ages: 6 & Up| Saturday, Sept. 11 | 11:00 am-1:00 pm Drop in to build, build, build! We will have Duplo, Legos, Boost, Mindstorms. Come join the fun! Kids Art Club: #DrawThisInYourStyle Ages: 8-12| Friday, Sept. 24 | 4:30 pm A new once per month club for kids age 8-12 to get together with other creatives to draw, share ideas, and show off their art skills. Led by local author and illustrator, Amanda Gatton. Makerspace Craft Day w/Noel Ages: 6 & Up| Saturday, Sept. 25 | 11:00 am-1:00 pm We have ooodles of materials. You bring the creativity and we will make art! Summer is winding down - ladies, let's slow down & tune in. Starting with an optional sunrise watch, join other ladies at the beautiful Shaw Wetlands for yoga with Indigo Roots & Mindfulness Activities in Nature with Fayette Soil & Water. This event is for women and girls only, ages 13 & up. Come early for complimentary coffee provided by Platform. Registration is limited, with a $10 donation to conservation projects at Shaw Wetlands.
