Sensory Bins available for checkout with your library card are specially designed for our youngest patrons! These bins are designed to engage children's senses and promote development. Children can learn about different colors, textures, shapes, animal names, and much more. Several different themed boxes are available, including dogs, dinosaurs, bugs, ocean, farm animals, and more.
How do you use the sensory bin? Please fill the bin with rice or dry beans before playing. Please DO NOT use sand! Let the children explore while playing. Children should wash their hands before and after using the sensory bin. Before returning to the library, please take the rice or dry beans out and disinfect all the items.
