Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio mails kids one free book each month until his or her 5th birthday. Any child in Ohio between birth and age 5 is eligible for the program, which is available at no cost to families.

We invite you to explore and read with your child 100 picture books that have been chosen by leading children’s specialists who have selected the books as representative of some of the best in children’s literature.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Reading Challenge
You CAN read 1,000 books with your child before kindergarten! Readers who complete the challenge will have a very special recognition at the library.
Teacher Card Application Request
Educators wishing to have a card for professional use may apply for a Teacher Card. The card will allow for more items to be checked out and requested for your classroom use. These items also have longer checkout times. Please download the application and return it to the Children's Department. (See application for card policy, circulation limits, and rules.)
Teacher Request Form
Educators wishing to have assistance selecting materials to enhance their curriculum can submit a Teacher Request Form. Indicate the title, author, or describe the subjects you wish to request and a librarian will place a request for you.
