The Great Pumpkin Show
Join us for The Great Pumpkin Show, where creativity meets community! People of all ages are invited to decorate their own pumpkins at home and bring them to the library for a special display.

Here’s how it works:
1. Grab a pumpkin from a local farm or store. Choose your favorite size and shape!
2. Get Creative: Use paint, markers, glitter, and other craft supplies to decorate your pumpkin*. Let your imagination run wild—go for spooky, silly, or seasonal designs!
3. Between October 15th and 18th, bring your pumpkin to the library. We’ll have a designated area to display all your creations!
4. All pumpkins will be on display until November 1st. You can pick up your pumpkin between November 1st and 5th.
*Note: Please don’t puncture or carve your pumpkin. We will dispose of rotting pumpkins!

The Valentine station will be set up in the Adult Department. 

6th Annual Adult Spelling Bee

Calling all word nerds! Put your spelling skills to the test at our 6th Annual Adult Spelling Bee. Compete as an individual or as a representative from your workplace or organization. The champion gets bragging rights and a cool prize. 


The event will take place on Friday, February 9th, at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room at Adena Fayette, Medical Arts Building 2  - located at 1510 Columbus Avenue.  The conference room is on the left immediately upon entering the building.
